Day 1
River, then the mat
- 05:15Pickup from your hotel. Roads are empty; allow 20 minutes from most Cantt hotels.
- 05:45Board at Dashashwamedh. Rowing boat, not motor — the point is the quiet.
- 06:00Upstream past Manikarnika as light comes up. This is the stretch people photograph.
- 07:15Ashore at Assi Ghat for the yoga hour on the steps.
- 08:30Drop back to your hotel.

Who this is not for
Late risers. The whole value is in the hour before sunrise; a 07:30 boat is a different and much less interesting experience, and we will not pretend otherwise.
